Terms & Conditions / Code of Conduct
1. Agreement to Terms​
By purchasing a ticket or participating in Winter Splash Manali (“the Event”), attendees (“you”) agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions and all rules and regulations set by the organizers.

2. Eligibility & Tickets​

Tickets are non-transferable and valid only for the registered individual.

Entry will be granted only upon verification of a valid ticket and government-issued ID.
-
The organizers reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any participant for misconduct.

3. Code of Conduct​
-
Participants must adhere to the basic rules and spirit of a sporting event.
-
Misconduct, harassment, discrimination, or offensive behavior (especially against women or children) will result in immediate removal from the event and possible legal action under the jurisdiction of Karnataka/Tamil Nadu state laws.

Participants must follow instructions from event staff, ski trainers, and safety personnel at all times.

4. Alcohol, Drugs & Prohibited Items

Alcohol may be served at the event but must be consumed responsibly.

The organizers are not liable for legal action resulting from alcohol misuse.

Possession or use of drugs or illegal substances is strictly prohibited and subject to immediate removal and legal consequences.

Dangerous or banned items (e.g. weapons, explosives, fireworks) are not permitted.

5. Health & Safety​

Skiing and other adventure activities involve inherent risks. Participation is voluntary and at your own risk.

All safety protocols, including ski slope regulations and weather advisories, must be followed.

Medical assistance and ambulance services will be available onsite, but the organizers are not responsible for pre-existing conditions or negligence.

6. Liability & Waiver​

By attending the event, you acknowledge and accept the risks associated with skiing and related activities.

A separate Liability Waiver (MOU) must be signed at the venue before participation.
-
The organizers are not liable for personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to property.

7. Media & Photography​
-
By entering the event premises, you consent to being photographed or recorded for promotional use, unless you have opted out in advance.
-
Event-managed live streaming may take place; third-party live streaming is prohibited.
-
Photos/videos may be used in future promotions of Winter Splash Manali.

8. Refunds & Cancellations
-
Refunds will be processed as follows:
-
75% refund if canceled 3 months before the event.
-
50% refund if canceled 2 months before the event.
-
10% refund if canceled 1 month before the event.
-
No refunds within 30 days of the event.
-

If the event is canceled due to weather, safety, or force majeure, tickets will be refunded in full or rescheduled to a new date.
-
Tickets are non-transferable.

9. Children & Minors​

Children aged 10 and above are permitted only under the supervision of a parent/guardian.

Ski training schedules and suitability will be determined by professional trainers.

10. Accessibility​
The organizers will provide reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities if requested in advance.

11. Vendors & Sponsors​
-
Vendors and sponsors must comply with branding, setup, and cleanup guidelines issued by the organizers.
-
Branding placement will be finalized after site inspection and approval.
-
Attendee data may be shared with sponsors under agreed terms (never sold for unrelated use).

12. Security & Emergency​
-
Security personnel will be deployed throughout the venue for smooth operations.
-
In case of accidents, emergencies, or weather-related threats, all attendees must follow evacuation protocols issued by the venue and event staff.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction​
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the state courts of Karnataka or Tamil Nadu, depending on the event venue.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. Ticket Refunds by Attendees​

75% Refund – if cancellation request is received 3 months before the event date.

50% Refund – if cancellation request is received 2 months before the event date.
-
10% Refund – if cancellation request is received 1 month before the event date.
-
No Refunds – within 30 days of the event date.

2. Event Cancellation or Postponement by Organizers​

If the event is canceled due to force majeure, weather conditions, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances, attendees will be entitled to:

A full refund of the ticket price, OR
-
Transfer of ticket to the rescheduled event date (attendee’s choice).
-
In case of postponement, ticket holders will be notified via email and official social media channels.

3. Non-Transferable Tickets​

All tickets are non-transferable and valid only for the registered participant.
-
Entry will be denied if a ticket is found to be resold, transferred, or misused.

4. Refund Process

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [Insert Official Event Email] along with the ticket confirmation.

Approved refunds will be processed to the original method of payment within 14–21 business days.
-
Any transaction fees or bank charges are non-refundable.

5. Exceptions​
Refunds will not be issued for:

“No-shows” on the event day.

Partial participation (e.g., if you attend only some activities).
-
Expenses beyond ticket cost (e.g., travel, accommodation, personal arrangements).
6. Policy Updates​
We reserve the right to update this Refund & Cancellation Policy. Any changes will be communicated via our website and official communication channels.
Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk Agreement
1. Acknowledgment of Risks
I, the undersigned participant, acknowledge that skiing, snow sports, and related adventure activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

Slips, falls, or collisions on slopes.

Adverse weather conditions.
-
Equipment malfunction.
-
Physical injuries, including sprains, fractures, hypothermia, or other medical emergencies.
I understand that despite all safety measures taken by the organizers, these risks cannot be completely eliminated.

2. Assumption of Responsibility​
By participating, I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any injury, loss, damage, or accident that may occur during my participation in the event.

3. Organizers’ Disclaimer

All ski instructors are Indian International Ski Trainers, and safety procedures will be followed diligently.
-
An ambulance and medical team will be available at the venue, but the organizers are not responsible for pre-existing medical conditions or negligence on my part.
-
The organizers are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

4. Medical Consent
I consent to receive necessary medical treatment in case of an emergency and agree to cover any associated medical costs not provided by the event.

5. Release of Liability​
I hereby release, waive, and discharge the organizers of Winter Splash Manali, their staff, volunteers, sponsors, and partners from any liability, claims, demands, or legal actions arising out of participation in the event.
6. Legal Jurisdiction​
This waiver shall be governed by the laws of India, with disputes subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Himachal Pradesh (Manali venue jurisdiction).

I confirm that:
